After some really interesting session of good music featuring names like Praslea and Alexandra, Kontrast is preparing another lineup on Saturday that will surely take fans to another dimension. Pedro and Raresh are definitely the most well known and appreciated Romanian djs, abroad. Along with Rhadoo, they started [a:rpia:r] a very special project with an unique and distinctive sound, every time you hear them play. Club Midi invites you this Friday to see Petre Inspirescu and Raresh. Their gigs in Romania are limited so this is a nice opportunity to spend the next weekend in a surprising and pleasant way.

His special mixture of house, minimal and classic gives birth to rollercoaster story driven sets easily recognisible and unforgetable on the other hand. Apart from beeing part of the famous A:rpia:r group he also owns and runs the Yojik Con Con label, a platform created especially for the π Ensemble project and for the future of his mysterious sound.

Lick My Deck is a label meant to develop and release intelligent and provocative electronic music. This is a label that really stood out in our opinion, featuring artists like : Thomas Melchior, Bruno Pronsato, Pheek, Akiko Kiyama or remixes from the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Adultnapper and Baby Ford.

Lick My Deck has started the year by announcing their latest member of the familly, injecting some romanian blood into the label, Petre Inspirescu [a:rpia:r]. What we can say is that the next Lick My Deck release (LMD011) will be signed by Petre Inspirescu, more info to be revealed soon.

The explosive formula of Raresh, Rhadoo and Petre Inspirescu playing can solve the puzzle of any clubnight. They are playing music together in an innovative way, as a back2back in three and complete each other extremely good.

Here you have a set with two parts of the [a:rpia:r] formula, along with Kid Chic at the famous Rote Sonne in Munich.

On 10th December, Fabric London calls on their resident Terry Francis to set the floor in motion as we ready ourselves for the colossal return of RPR SOUND, or as you may better know them; Romanian DJ’s, Raresh, Petre Inspirescu and Rhadoo. In case you missed him, Rhadoo played an exceptional 12^th fabric birthday set with Ricardo Vilallobos and resident, Craig Richards back in October.

In Room Two, Craig Richards headlines his long-standing diverse and steadfast night, ‘The Nothing Special’ with two must-see live shows from leading techno producers, Falko Brocksieper and Phil Kieran.

Berlin’s Ostgut Ton takes on Room Three with a stunning line-up from Tama Sumo, Steffi and Virginia and stylistically their sounds will be as open as possible, without losing sight of the dancefloor.

The first Party For Friends Podcast is from Petre Inspirescu. Claimed Romanian musician and DJ also known as Pedro from the magical trinity Arpiar (Rhadoo, Pedro, Raresh) shows his intimate and mysterious side in this mix which can also be associated with his p Ensemble project and his own label Yojik ConCon . This set is recorded live at Rokolectiv Festival in Bucharest where Petre hypnotized listeners with beautiful ambient landscapes, opera and classics. Pure psychotherapy.

Party For Friends say in their podcasts they want to strip down the artist and see what he or she is about when he or she is not behind prime-time decks of a sweaty club. Every musician will not only record a mix itself, but also give it a name and create an artwork, so that every podcast will be like a ready piece of art.

As you already know this weekend we organized the Aiport Rave at the Utilitarian Airport in Timisoara. We are very proud to say we enjoyed the two great nights with you people, people that not only shown us support daily with our project but who also danced in the heavy rain on Friday. We like to thank you guys, thank our guests for delinghting us with their wonderfull sounds and keeping the crowd alive until the morning. We hope everyone had a great time, see you on the next edition but until then check the below photos from the two nights and enjoy the material we select each day for you carefully.

The famous Sunwaves festivals returns to celebrate it’s 10th edition . This edition comes with a new location at Navodari, Constanta . As far as the lineup goes : Ricardo Villalobos , Sasha , Dj Sneak , James Zabiela , Valentino Kanzyani , Raresh , Paco Osuna , Phil Weeks , Petre Inspirescu , Troy Pierce , Margaret Dygas , Heartthrob Live , Alex Niggemann , Zip , Nastia , Scarlett Ettiene just to name the headliners . So on 13-14th of August you should pack your bags and celebrate the 10th edition of Sunwaves .

Our ideea was to combine this great lineup with the concept of the Utilitarian Airport, besides the great view, a plane parked on a side of the great stage are just a few of the elements that will contribute on , what we think to be , a great party.
We tend to think that our website always tried to be something else and although our parties are not on a weekly/monthly basis we tried to give you a diferrent experience. Thus being said , this summer we will try again to bring you another recipe : electronic music combined with the ambient of an airport. So on 15th and 16th of July we will have a electronic 2 night party on Timisoara’s Utilitarian Airport . We splitted the lineup in two parts, based on the different styles we will approach :

Friday 15th Lineup :

Limun (Subcarpati)

With a genre that spreads from turntablism,hip hop,glitch to ghetto funk/dnb/breakbeat , Dj Limun is , at his early age, one of the most active DJ’s in romanian underground scene . One of the regulars at Iarmaroc ,TmBase , Summer Jam ; Limun also opened names like : Afu-Ra, Phi Life Cypher, A Skillz or JFB. K .

K-LU (Dreptu la Verde)

K-lu also comes from Timisoara and uses to spin his records alone or in b2b’s with Limun . Defines his style as : funk , nujazz , afrobeat , hip-hop , bossa nova , broken beat and breaks ; K-Lu has a great pasiune for everything that involves turntablism so you can expect a lot of scratches in his sets .
