New stuff coming from long running Manchester & Berlin Party Lost Control with their radio show residency on NTS also contributed to their notoriety. The labels run by resident Black Eyes under the name ‘Lost Control 2097’ and launches looking to connect listeners with sounds from “the 5th Dimension”

The first release is an electro laced 4 track coming out on vinyl on the 7th of April from Dallas Based producer Cygnus.

Side A Opens with the title track “Come On Let’s Get it.’ Giving you all the crisp snares, wandering squelchy leads and melodic chords you need as the wandering track meanders through space. It is a cosmic ride in keeping with the extra terrestrial theme of the label.

The more stab heavy ‘Soi Boi’ is a headsy tune, almost live jam like, it is more suited to a trip than a dance floor in many ways. But a tribute to the musicality going on behind the beats, something present throughout the EP.

Side B “Robotech’ interplay between vocals, drum machines and synth hits all the stylistic sweet spots of classic US Electro.

“Manchester” is the stand out track. Bringing it back to the label back to its origins, this one that you can imagine really going off on a dancefloor.

This EP has tunes on it that will be tearing up dancefloors in a post pandemic time.

With the label keeping one eye on the future and apparently sitting on a host of forthcoming releases they are ready to press.

This is a new label, run by an old head and one to follow in the future.
