Noha - HOWLSD 43 EP (Howl Records) 11th April »

Noha is an Italian artist in a fine run of form right now. He continues that with two more standout cuts on esteemed label Howl Records, that fuse different genres into something new and fresh,
Scale opens up with a heavy drum line that will nail you to the floor. The samples are well placed and bring a real element of edginess and heat to the track. As the synths unfold, things get ever more tense and this one is sure to do plenty of damage. On the flip is something quite different but equally original sounding. The designs are deft, the grooves utterly compelling, and the whole thing rolls deep on a late night wave of heady and hypnotic house goodness.

This is the latest in a line of innovative sounds from this ever more essential producer.
