Noha - The Midnight Zone EP (Panick Panick!) (Review) »

Panick Panick! mark their tenth label offering here, with Italian label head Noha turning in a new four tracker that truly impresses.

There is plenty of stylish studio work in these tunes which means they will lock in crowds in cosy clubs but also zone out those who listen at home. Opening things up is The Midnight Zone, a silky and deft track with ghoulish vocals that pull you in deep. Conquering is another real bumper with frosted synths searching across the face of the tune, catchy finger clicks and late night allure. Then comes Today We Walk, another tight and kinetic house cut with eerie melodies and plenty of rich detail and soul. Alien is last and is the best of the lot with its buzzing synths and outlier effects, freaky vibes and seductive house groove.
